Even Ryanair couldn't get away with that one... Ryanair's Dublin and Stansted flights both use Blackpool's own modest airport.

Ryanair operate Dublin-Leeds as a seperate route, perhaps that's where the rumour came from.

Ryanair do not currently operate to Ohio, although who knows what may happen in the future? They do however have a hub to Orio al Serio airport near Milan, again perhaps the rumour came from a slip of the tongue? Just a guess... :O
