Noticed whilst visiting at Stansted yesterday

6 Buzz Yellow 146 and 4 or 5 737 all parked up in
the general aviation side.

Sad sight indeed, especailly as the new flights was due to start this week.

:*

I think you will find that ex Buzz routes will not start until 1/5/03. Therefore not surprising that fleet is standing at Stansted. In any event few of the 146 fleet were going to be used by Ryanair.
When flights restart Buzz will be used by Ryanair to operate a number of existing and new Ryanair routes eg Blackpool, Rodez and some others. Use of B737-300 allows better matching of demand to supply of seats.

So, what has happened to the ex Buzz staff, pilots, cabin crew, ops and crewing? On the basis that Buzz isn't flying during April, have Ryanair made them redundant ?

As the sale has not yet been finalised, we are all at home on gardening leave.

Ron - your neighbour makes very good tea! And was always generous with the biscuits! Also offered many pearls of wisdom and experience to us youngsters in the dark days that followed the announcement of our redundancy.
