Perhaps one of the worst web sites I have visited. . .. .Clicking on the link provided here, led me to their website. Just what is it that they offer? Their web site doesn't tell you, apart from some spin, such as "Our unique programs..." and that I have to spend cash on an aptitude test. Nice pics though. . .. .Mmmm. .. .Rant over.

Hello Phantom!. .Hello no sponsor!. .As you obviously have nothing better to do than slag people off, why not have a go at traffic wardens? They make such easier targets and also people won't think you have a private axe to grind. . .. .Cynics. Don't you just hate 'em?. .. .Nuff said.

I think their 'Training' section on their website sums up what they offer, If you are still unsure and want to find out more I would suggest you give them a ring or e-mail, all the info is on the web site!. . Phantom - Have you posted anything other than negative comments about pilot assist?. . I still don't see a company that have just bought their own simulator, and a few months ago bid to buy SFT, being in any financial trouble.

I agree with Itchy & Flash... Phantom, I have worked as a chartered accountant in my previous 'life' before flying and have also seen your previous posts harping on about the fact that Pilot Assist are late filing their Y/E accounts with C.H. Big deal! Though I hate to admit it, it is a fairly common (off the record) practice for an accountant to advise a company to pay a late fee - rather than file in the first year, especially if the company is wishing to 'cloak' its funding sources for as long as possible, a usefull business tactic for any new company with active competitors; especially in the dog-eat-dog world of aviation. Also, if they are anything like any other start-up I have ever dealt with, they would show a loss anyway in the first or 2nd fiscal year. While I know nothing of you, or Pilot Assist, and would neither vouch for their financial stability or lack thereof; I would tend to agree with other comments posted. You seem to have an insatiable desire to want to put them down. Why? (P.S. I also agree with Itchy and Flash about the 'critics' The reason I am posting now is that I am getting sick and tired of 'wannabes' that seem to have nothing better to do than attack the industry rather than face the fact that getting through this training is HARD...it takes EFFORT and a large amount of SELF DISCIPLINE, DETERMINATION and FORESIGHT - How sad that those who have time on their hands to post this utter nonsense (rather than get the job done) have to try and convince others to come down to their level. The ones that will make it will rise above. That is the very essence of a true airline pilot, and a quality that the industry is now well qualified to spot. Sorry Phantom... but 'wannabe' describes YOU to a tee. Keep posting, you will be here for years!

Finance Dance. .. .If your a former accoutant I must be a page 3 model (judging by your posted comments). .Sudjecting a company fail to file its accouts after the TEN months period allowed after the end of FY and simply pay the late filing FINE. Your off your rocker mate.. .Anyone with true accounts experience (like me) knows they must file their accounts at some point of face being dissolved as a company, a notice in the LG, a loss of any credit they may have and their bank account frozen until it's all sorted out.. .As for your guestimated reason of not wanting to reveal fianance sources to the 'fierce' competition is a pathetic guess at that. Any accoutant with five minutes in the job would know that company accounts very very rarely show any such information at all. pilot assist .com ltd t/a pilot assist 'college' will be filing small accounts and more than likely (if they actually ever do file accounts) due to a very small turnover, opt for total exempt information status.. .So they dont even have to show their turnover, just a very simple profit and loss account. As for the competition, I doubt if the're even interested in this little minow.. .Yes for a lousy accountant you have noticed my only comments are negative. Why ? because after some research I haven't found anything positive about them..FACT.. .My little brother and I went to one of their 'seminars'. What a sales pitch, full of cr@p and contradictions. Go to them for training, let them arange the flying with various different schools in either the uk or usa, they could say exactly which ones as things where changing all the time, pay them a fee for this service and why ?. quote because airlines are looking for consistentcy in your training, something you would not have if you went to these places yourself and arranged the flying without our 'help'.. .As for my flight status you little tw@t. I earn my living flying slightly heavier metal that you, when I can and work as a company accountant in the family firm when things are slack. My company have expanded at the wrong time recently so I need to make up the money else where. . .Other than the main three, some goods FTO'd would be Multi Flight in Leeds or the Bristol school for the IR. . .Note: Only just registered FD. Pull the other one, especially if your real name is Dick or Dodger.............. .

Phantom,. .. .I'm supprised you don't have your answer to every PAC post in your clip board as you seem to give the same one every post. I think I can speak for others here too and say we really don't give a damn now. Their students don't seem to either or their numbers wouldn't have grown from 20 ish before xmas to over 60 now. FACT as u keep saying. New sim FACT, new staff FACT. 3 facts to ur 1.. .. .As for ur half-hearted attempt at slagging off their seminar day, well, i've also been to one, FACT, with lots of important FACTS for wannabes ok their was sales pitch but thats the idea after all.. .. .So to frank if want to keep wasting ur money to keep checking if they have filed their accounts as I know you have to pay feel free, but don't think anyone cares cause they don't as you've seen.

Sales pitch or not, (it wasn't when i went to one) the information is invaluable. It is the best tenner you can spend on flight training.. .. .Phantom. I'm suprised that your "heavy metal" doesn't melt with all the acid you spit.

I know several of the staff and some students of PAC. I must say that the staff are very competent (being the people who taught me ATPLs) and the students are very satisfied.. .. .As for financial stabiliy, I would think that the substantial sum (cash I understand) they offered for SFT, the bid not being accepted, would tide PAC over a fairly considerable lean period, given the relatively low overheads of the way they are operating. The fact that they were taking on more staff in the last few months also suggests financial confidence.
