Anybody rented a plane at this airport, I am after info on costs condition and types on offer.

Off to Orlando in a few weeks and I want to burn some hours for fun, where its cheaper.

I dont need any info on training or instructors or training thanks, and I am legal to fly in the US. Just looking for a good deal to rent a plane.

Already got that JAR fATPL thing and FAA CPL/IR. I'm just another wannabe looking for my first break.

Thanks in advance.

$69 per hr C152 at

www.flyorlandoflorida.com (http://www.flyorlandoflorida.com)

They are about average (price-wise!)

I am not advertising, just got the biggest bl**dy pile of URL links on my desktop than I've had dodgy women in foreign ports (what....3?):O

This is a tricky one. Fly Orlando seems to be the only FBO on the field. They do also have an arrow for about $110 and a Semiole for $180 ish.

Most airfield in my experience have an underground renting scene which usually give you acces to nicer underutilised private aircraft but I couldn't find it at Kissimmee.

Its a nice place though and Fly Orlando are a friendly bunch.

Good luck

I don't know how keen you are at carpentry - but it seems a shame to go to Kissimmee without renting an aircraft as well as a woodworking tool - I gather it's a good place to fly from ;)

There is a list of FBO's in Florida here http://www.airsport.com/fbos/fbosfl.htm.
