HELP!!!ATPL CREDITS EXPIRE SOON

Does anybody know whether the ATPL theory exams expire 36 months after the first partial pass or after the full pass?
Do I have to do both CPL skill test and the IR in order to keep them valid or only one of them?
I appreciate any advice in this critical situation

36 months start after your last pass!!! ie the day you finally passed all 14! :)

ALFA, as far as I know it's 36 months from the date of one partially passing the first lot of groundschool exams.
And you need both CPL skills test and IR passed within this time.
I know the feeling, I was in the same position last year. Got the lot with two months to spare!

Give CAA FCL a ring ASAP. You don't want to do that lot all over again! <img src="eek.gif" border="0">

I assume we are talking JAA ATPL’s here.

If so it is definitely 36 months from obtaining a complete set of passes. In this time you must pass your CPL and IR or you are lose the ATPL status of your exam passes and will hold only a CPl, assuming that you complete the skills test within the timescale.

As the first set of ‘modular’ passes were achieved less than 2 years ago you still have some time…..but as they say, time flies!!!

As a matter of interest F3, your profile says you are a 509 graduate, how come it took you 34 months on an integrated course???

If its national exams its 5 years from the
partial but unfortunately will truncate so
will NOT extend beyond June 30 2002

Thank you guys for your replies.I am still confused I got a different answer from each one of you.
Clear prop I did not do the integrated course,I didn't even know about this on my profile.
I did my ATPL's at Guildhall and I was very happy with their lectures.

Clear Prop, It took me 34 months due to a large slice of time I had to take off when my Father was dying (my mother is housebound and could not help). I also ran into financial difficulties, but managed to get the thing finished six weeks before my Dad passed away,thank God.

ALFA phone FCL, get it from the horses mouth. I was refering to the time scale applied to the old CAA exams. I didn't think it had changed.

So does this mean I could do 7 of the exams then do my CPL then complete the exams then do the IR and then I'd be issued with the CPL\IR? But not before the exams are all completed successfully obviously! <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">
All in all can you do the CPL\IR courses then do the exams? But you wouldn't have the CPL\IR issued until they were complete?

CAA GID No 24 states that you must have passed the exams at either ATPL or CPL level before attempting the CPL GFT. SO you could go through the CPL training without passing the exams but you would be unable to sit the GFT. Pointless exercise in other words since you really need to go straight from the training to the flight test.
