Hi all,

With a forthcoming work trip to Eglin in Florida, I am intending to take full advantage and bang some hours in while there. Can anyone recommend a good Operator in the area ?

In adittion, what sort of time would it take to fly to Cape Canaveral (forgive my ignorance my geography could be better!) to take in "the tour" maybe over a weekend.

Finally, what are the current requirements for a CAA PPL to get a check ride on arrival?

Any suggestions are most welcome

DA.

Hope my post was helpful

Just to let you know I bought the flying In florida book advertised in this months flyer mag. It is small but comprehensive, I havent read all of it yet but Im glad I bought it. Tells you all the addresses where to get your FAA certificate from and all that essential stuff. Definateley recomend you go and order it. it cost me £8.95.

Good luck

Thanks guys.

Im heading for Eglin in the North West, so any specific information about a rental outfit up there would be most appreciated.

Thanks
