I have a questions for pilots working for the majors:. .. .When u arrive at the airport and u r on ur way to eg crew lounge or hotel: Do u find it annoying when a wannabe pilot approaches you with a question abt for example how U applied for that airline and questions regarding recruitment at his or her airline.. .. .Kerropi

In my own time, I am not bothered at all, in fact I enjoy passing on my knowledge.. .. .If i was at work though it would be a different matter. If enroute the a/c we want to get there asap, and if enroute the hotel - the same, and so to walk up to a pilot and ask questions in this matter, I expect most would find this rather irritating.. .. .Do you expect solicitors (for example) to give up part of their working day to talk to wannabe solicitors about how to get there ??? I doubt it !

Don't pester me when I'm at work - someone is paying for my time, and they deserve my full attention to the job at hand. The time and place to talk is in a social environment, or here at Pprune - but on the correct Forum, which is why this is going to Questions <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" /> . .PS. This is not an SMS text forum. We are allowed to use more than 160 characters per message, so please use 'you' instead of 'u', it's a great deal easier to read.
