Hi Guys

I need help.

I have a UK JAR ATPL Frozen with Shorts 330/360 on my licence with 900hrs on type. Total 1245hrs.
I am planning to move to canada if I get a Flying job over there.
If anyone knows about any recruitment going on with large or small operator, please update me with details avilable.
Would canadian operators accept JAR Licence.::) :)

The JAR license is not accepted at face value to fly Canadian aircraft, but can be converted with time and money. You should know that the Canadian aviation industry is also down and out right now and there are many pilots (up to and including those with Type Ratings and Trans-oceanic time) who have needed to seek employment outside of aviation just to get a paycheck.

It is highly unlikely that you will find a company in Canada which will sponsor your immigration-- you need to apply for Landed Immigrant (Permanent Residency) on your own accord and this can take a long time and isn't exactly pocket change either.

Hope this helps, and good luck in your job hunt.
