Russia…..

Having just returned from a flying holiday in San Diego, I’m thinking about my next ‘adventure’ and like the thought of going to Russia, or some of the eastern block countries.

Does anyone out there have any information about flying and aircraft rental in that part of the world? Is there any good web sites out there to help?

What sorts of aircraft are available to rent, and are there many places to fly to?

What I need is some good honest advice… Is this going to cause more problems than it’s worth, or should I continue with the idea?

So there go… that’s the question… Now go run with it… Fill your boots…. Anything you’ve got to say about Russia, and flying over there… This is the place to say it!

Cheers

Sunnysideup…. If the offer is still there, can we arrange that flight Little Annie some time?….. Thanks!

GD - sounds like a great idea. For my part, I will be working in St. Petersburg from January to October, and certainly plan to look into the possibility of some flying experience whilst over there! I will be looking for something aerobatic and will be happy to pass on any information I find out! Best regards, WP

I went flying in Russia in Septemeber; had a fantastic time. Do a search on Rotorheads for my thread on Flying in russia, and see http://home-1.tiscali.nl/~aeropriz/ for details.
