This may be old news now, but given Bush’s Axis of Evil speech and the increased rhetoric coming from Washington. The coalition of the US and err….. Britain is shaping up for a fight with the Republican Guards finest. I suggest that it might turn out like this;. .. .May; the US tell Saddam to let the weapons inspectors in to inspect the WMD, he says no, and so they must use force. .. .June; US and it’s coalition go to the UN and seek a UN resolution probably get a quasi-resolution of some sort as France, China, and Russia don’t agree with the action. .. .July; build up force of around 200,000 mainly in Kuwait and Persian Gulf for political reasons, other Arab states object to US forces on their soil.. .. .September- December ?? ; Invade and engage in a full scale war to destroy the WMD and topple Saddam and his regime. .. .If, or rather when this happens it will be a double whammy to the plans of many wannabes like myself. The airline industry may never recover? Or if it does, not after three or four years after the current recovery is planned to take place ( two or three years from the present day ). .. .Does anyone agree or disagree with my assessment?

No one will ever fly again, we'll all be out of work, and granny will go over the cliff in her wheelchair.. .Life's $hit and then you die.. .Can we keep the more long range speculation for a more general discussion forum? Like Questions, Aircrew Notices, or even Non-Airline Issues? My crystal ball's broken, and I bet no-one has got a replacement Super Long Range Predictor Plus in stock right now. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" />
