Elstree Incident?

Anyone fill me in with the details of why Elstree was closed for large chunk of the day(Sun 8th), due to an incident???

Am not sure of the date, but they do have a flying competition scheduled to take place over one weekend this month, so may be that was the reason.

Very entertaining last year with trying to burst a balloon whilst flying, flour bombing, and spot landing competition, etc..

The Seneca is only half of the story. There was a police chase + helicopter chase after a stolen Porche, it took place on the runway:D
