Hi,

this is an ATPL AIR LAW QUESTION:

An aircraft in receipt of radar service is told to "resume own navegation". This means:

a) The pilot is responsible for own navegation
b) Radar vectoring is terminated

It means both a & b.

TangoAir,

Yes, it means that you are no longer being vectored, and that you are to resume your own navigation along your filed route.

For example:

You are flying to ORD via DAY V277 FWA V340 OXI V340 BEARZ ORD, due to traffic or weather I vector you off course.

I will clear you depending on your position: X miles from FWA fly heading 330 until able direct OXI resume own navigation on course.
