I have a friend who is going to the UK for a while, he has a Compaq Ipaq (palm pda) and he'd like to be able to connect it to one of the free uk ISPs while hes there.
Has anyone any experience. tips or advice?
I've done it before with freeserve and a Psion 5 but not one of these thingys.
Does anyone have a list of the settings or point me somewhere that has.

Depends whether you're planning to connect using a mobile phone or a modem. Have a look at one of the many Ipaq forums(eg Brighthand) and you'll find all the answers you need.
