Any SA pilots contemplating working with a Chinese airline? Or perhaps already do...

What are the main push and pull factors for the younger guys as well as the older pilots towards the end of their career? (I'm really interested in the stats for the pilots 57+ that are passing their medical).

Any insight or help would be most welcome. :8

I have heard from a friend who's son works for Dragon Air that the lifestyle and the pay is really good. The only downside is that you have to live in the far east! They managed to buy a 3 story house boat in Discovery bay, which is a lot more space than if you went for a piece of land. I cant directly comment about any of the packages but they are certainly paying more than here in Europe.

Living in HK has its pros and cons but generally it is not bad. If you are referring to mainland China though then I believe it is quite a different story. HK is years better.
