CHC are bringing in 3 x AW189 aircraft to operate out of Karratha. I understand that the first is scheduled to arrive mid September with the rest coming in in November.

Currenty in flight test at the Leonardo factory in Italy is an AW189 in full CHC livery. However, it is not a brand new aircraft and we believe it may have been stored at the facility for over two years. When seen in March 2015, serial 49022 was wearing the livery of Nigerian opertor Caverton Helicopters, but no reports of it have been seen or heard since. HeliHub.com understands that the aircraft is due to be operated by CHC Australia.

Meanwhile, CHC is also adding its first H175 to its fleet, with British registered G-EMEA reportedly due for delivery as early this week. Serial number 5024 will reportedly be based at Aberdeen, from where Babcock and NHV already operate three each of the type.

Looks fast (thankyou Marco for the photo), but I would have thought they would have gone with the new grey and orange corporate colours?
