View Full Version : Crew bus crash near EGHQ

Came back at sunrise this morning. Just prior to reaching the crew bus departure area that we drive past before drop off, there was a crew bus that had apparently veered left and slammed into one of the support pillars.
Bus had substantial damage to the drivers side and front. Windshield was completely shattered.
No trailer was attached, but it looked to have been sitting for at least a bit of time as nobody was present.

Anyone know any details, mainly if there was a crew on board??

Hoping just the driver. Fatigue? Mobile phone distraction?

Yes, I saw that too. The trailer had been unhitched and was sitting further up the road. I guess that is why there had been a shortage of crew buses from HQ at around 7:30 am; tunnel roads don't leave too much space to get by!

Allegedly there was only the driver on board and he had fallen asleep at the wheel...

The driving is just so terrible , culture full of arragonce with no respect for the law. Hope nobody was injured
