Hi there,

I'm interested in the BSc (Hons) Professional Aviation Pilot Practice (Helicopter)
and was wondering if anyone on this forum has done the course? Would be great to hear pro's/con's. Also has anyone trained with Heli Centre Aviation LTD, Leicester, as they run the course in conjunction with Middlesex Uni.

Be careful what you are told about getting a job/being an instructor etc etc . A lot on this forum will tell you more I am certain. Think the expression go there with eyes wide open would meet the mark !

What Hughes said.

There is a tremendous number of pilots with high hours out of work at the moment, and arguably the situation is unlikely to improve dramatically.

I'm not inferring anything overtly negative about the crew in Leicester, btw.

If you PM me, I can give a bit more detail. I'm extremely local to you and can share some info about a number of nearby flight schools.
