Hello fellow aviators. Any updated news, views or Prune abuse on the likely merger of the North runway and South (parent) local airlines/pilots merging forces. It will be interesting how the company(s) will merge seniority, type, conversion, pay and allowances and other important details? Anyone any insight?

Why completely merge operations? The way things are going the two could operate under the same brand without any expensive integration. A repaint would be involved and a closer working relationship between EKs and FZs top brass (which is probably already happening anyway) but doubt there would be a coming together of any significant proportions, not yet anyway.

as far as I know FZ is moving to DWC in 2020 and EK will remain at DXB
and the Max already got the FZ livery , few leaked pics online

To be honest merger or no merger is all a bit like moving the crockery around on the Titanic.
Until the conundrum of what to do about the "Icebergs" littering DWC and the Northside, it is all one handed clapping.
