I have my medical revoked by the CAA several years ago and have been trying to get it back since. I received a AMS Primary assessment of fitness which declared me unfit to fly.

I understand I can request a secondary review of fitness and then one last final appeal. I've had a look at the appeals process (http://www.caa.co.uk/WorkArea/DownloadAsset.aspx?id=4294976715) on the CAA website but it doesn't actually state how you initiate the secondary review of fitness.

Has any one been through it that could offer some advice?

A secondary review of fitness will be undertaken by the AMS on request by the applicant

Send them a letter.

Stating the ble*ding obvious but ... you could try writing a letter.

I've sent them three emails requesting and every time they post out the same printed version of the appeals process online which goes into great detail about the final appeal but not the secondary appeals process. I'll send them another email and see what happens this time.
