Hello everyone,
i would "invest" some money in an MCC(H)....any (cheap) suggestion in EASAland?
Do you confirm that i can do it only in a helicopter Fnpt ?

You might want to check EASA Part FCL 735.H(b)

A simulator has to be used...

Yes but in fcl.735.H (b) it seems like a "generic" FNPT (an FNPT II or III qualified for MCC, an FTD 2/3 or an FFS).... at "GM1 to appendix3; appendix6; fcl735.H" again we can find a "generic" FNPT ... if it was not for the note at the bottom "in this matrix FSTDs credits refer to helicopter FSTDs if not mentioned otherwise "...... I understand that they write FNPT but they intend FNPT (H) however we are in a GM so is it binding?

Yes, it is....under normal circumstances, one will either do the MCC course (keep in mind there are two:VFR and IFR) while doing an ATPL-course, or combined with the first Multi-Pilot type rating...

MCC Course | Northern Helicopters (http://www.nheli.se/mcc-course/)

There are plenty of fixed wing sims for MCC which you can use also

That is not possible.

Check Part FCL 735.H.

d) An applicant having completed MCC training for any other category of aircraft shall be exempted
from the requirement in (a)(1)(i) or (a)(2)(i), as applicable

The requirements refer to the theoretical knowlrdge instruction-NOT to the practical training...as this is in the helicopter section, this means the required hours have to be done on a helicopter FNPT or sim..

Hi all,

I have a candidate I’d like to put through MCC(H) early next month in the Southern U.K.

As a pair of candidates are needed on a course I’m seeking another CPL IR(H) who is interested in undertaking an MCC for career development. I am in a position to negotiate the price for the 2nd candidates course fee to make it more attractive (in the order of 50%). If interested please PM - first come first serve…
