German LBA basically told us in written form to use our approved SOPs until they can catch up with the workload. Unfortunately they haven't told the State Aviation Authorities yet..... Useless.....

I didn't know the individual German states had regulatory oversight of aviation. From an EASA viewpoint a 'state' is the 'nation'.

We wrote new manuals, added some SOPs including risk analyse and sent in the required declaration that we will continue to be "good boys" and that we won't do any high risk operation.
The manuals will be checked by the inspector during coming audit. Nothing is going to change but there will be at least one more invoice coming from the NAA.

First rumours say that a SOP approved by one country doesn't mean that you are allowed to exercise the very same operation in the country next door or like George Orwell used to say: "All SOPs are equal, but some SOPs are more equal than others."

The difference is in what member states see things as high-risk look at the pdf attached I found on FOCA website.
So if you as an operator have your high risk spo approved in your state it does not it work in another state, just like the old work permits. so why are we doing this:ugh:
