S-92 Operating Costs

Hi Folks,

Hope this is posted in the right place - doing a bit of research for a client and one of the questions which came up was the approximate hourly operating costs for an S-92 SAR out of Prestwick - is £5000 too low and is £12000 too high?

Your request is too simplistic. Its dependent on hours flown, many costs are fixed and not hour based.

I assumed he was asking for a ball-park ad-hoc charter rate for an S92, for which there will be a simple number.

Don't believe there would be any SAR equiped/crewed S-92s available for ad-hoc charter anywhere.

S92 ad hoc for VIP work, offshore will be slightly different depending on config but if you need ballpark, they should be able to provide this. I'd add 20% and go with that.
