View Full Version : Carmell Connelly, ex-WAAF, born 1912, has died

Carmell Connelly, 105 years old, ex- WAAF (WW2),a collector for the Poppy Appeal for 65 years has sadly died.
Her funeral will take place at St Charles Church, Tudhoe, Co. Durham DL16 6JY at 10.00a.m. on Tuesday the 7th February 2017.
Carmell, a staunch Legion member, WAAF Assn. member and supporter has received many plaudits and awards over the years and deserves a right Legion send off.

Standard Bearers are asked to meet at the church at 09:30 and no doubt there will be a good turnout in her honour ;
