I hope it's OK to post this here...

Anna Irwin won the Most Outstanding Airman award in 2013 for some brave work in Afghanistan (http://www.raf.mod.uk/RAFodiham/newsweather/index.cfm?storyid=07518368-5056-A318-A8506DEF89CAA398).

She was also part of the 2014 Chinook display team.

She now has lung cancer, and things aren't going well...:uhoh:

So sad it's one of the good guys when there is so much evil in this world.

Please help in anyway you can.

Copied from the RAF Odiham FB page:

We don't normally promote appeals or fundraising on this page, but there is no apology for making an exception for one of our own from the RAF Chinook Force...

Sgt Anna Irwin is a Weapon Systems Operator (Crewman) on the Chinook Helicopter and some of you may recognise her from her time as one of the RAF Chinook Display Team Crew in 2014... She was also the recipient of The Sun Military Awards for 'Most Outstanding Airman' in 2013!!

Sadly, Anna has been diagnosed with incurable cancer but is determined to fight this terrible and cruel disease... Please take some time to watch her video and find some way to support her in her quest to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Charity Trust!!

We wish Anna all the very best...

We are heartbroken to hear of the passing of Flight Sergeant Anna Irwin. Anna was an inspirational woman whose unfading smile brightened even the darkest of days for all those who had the privilege of serving with her. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.

Never knew her but clearly an inspirational and very courageous person. Hope she is at peace and her family find peace.
