Could you strap a Hunter on after 50 years and fly it again ? Would you want to try given the chance ?

Definitely brought a smile to my face. A great chap to be sure.

I seem to recall that Flt Lt/Sqn Ldr Chips Carpenter, 230 Sqn Puma pilot at Gutersloh in the mid 1980's, was rumoured to have been on the Black Arrows?

I remember the day well, Sunday, 12th September 2010, I was in the Scores Hotel in St Andrews, sat in the Restaurant/Coffee Shop looking out across to the airfield when I saw the Vulcan and the four Hunters flypast.

I just wish they had adjusted his oxygen mask for him - I spent the entire video wondering if it would fall off his nose.
