(Steinbach, Manitoba) A total of sixteen Air Cadets from across western
Canada have started their Private Pilot Licence course at Harv's Air. The
course will take six to seven weeks to complete, and each Cadet will
complete 47 hours of flight training and 45 hours of ground training.
The Royal Canadian Air Cadets is an organization for Canadian youth between
the ages of 12 and 19. The Air Cadet organization is based on a military
structure, but the youth involved remain civilians and have no commitment to
serve in Canada's military at any time.

Harv's Air Service is a family owned and operated air service located just
south of Steinbach, Manitoba. Offering accelerated but very comprehensive
courses for all licences and permits from the Recreational Permit on through
to the Multi-IFR and Instructor Ratings. Since 1972 we've taken pride in
offering the very best in flight training, in the safest, most enjoyable way
possible.

After an extensive review process, Harv's Air was chosen by the Department
of National Defense and the Air Transportation Association of Canada. Cadets
are chosen from thousands of students based on their service to the
community, ground school and test results, and a interview.

During the flight training course, a "web diary" will be maintained at
