I have a couple of internal pads for a G Helmet. See picture below. They are not by any means mint but I am sure they could be cleaned up a bit. Send me a PM with details of where to send them to; they are free to a good home.

There are no internal speakers but there is a pig tail with mic socket.

I've not got any e-mail from you and also have tried to send you a PM but I guess that as a new PPRuNer you don't have access to that facility.....
Can you give me some contact details for me to get in touch with you?

I always remember those helmets as being blue, or is it mildew?

They went green some time in the late 70s, in the same way that aircrew coveralls had gone from blue to green some years earlier.

The blue grey ones started life as F Helmets and originally only had one row of push studs, three each side for a H mask with elastic straps.

Later they then got two extra studs on each side and so morphed to became G Helmets and then able to accept P/Q masks on hooks and chains!

As you rightly say they turned green in the late 70's.

For your comparison The F and G type helmets, as MB said the early F type helmets were blue grey in colour with one set of press studs and when the extra set of studs were added and it then became the G type,The colur changed from blue grey to green sometime in the 70's
