Short service at Heathrow Airport's St Georges Chapel between 1045hrs and 1115hrs on Sat 1 Oct to help honour 3 RAF personnel and 1 member of the Avro company who were on board XA897, one of the first RAF Vulcan Bombers, that was coming into land after a Round the World Trip.
St Georges Chapel, Heathrow Airport is very close to the Bus Station, car parking at T2 and T3 & obviously Tube and Train also close by.
There will be members of the crews family attending to mark what is the 60th Anniversary of the Crash.

T3 short term is the better option for parking, as more direct route to chapel by foot from there.
From T2 short term, you need go down via underpass to bus station/tube to get around to chapel from T2 parking....so it's a much longer route around.

There is a very good article about the XA897 disaster in the latest issue of FlyPast magazine.
