About six years ago I posted our intention to set up a sharing scheme on pprune.org and several people contacted us and we built a sharing model that was a bit different to either equity sharing or normal non-equity sharing.

At the time there was a lot of criticism and nae-sayers just highlighting the reasons why it would all fall apart, but in June 2011 we bought a R44 Clipper II and have operated it out of Denham until now, when it's reached it's 12 year point.

Suffice to say the path has not been without issue and we did suffer from an overspeed which caused some issues, but we got over it.

Firstly I'd like to say thanks for the support on and of pprune.org and everybody that did wish us well, give advice and help us along the way.

But now we do intend to get the aircraft rebuilt and do it all over again, (are we mad) so would also be interested to hear from anyone that does fly R44 and would be interested in joining us.

If you are interested in finding more about what we've accomplished and seeing some of the pics taken of the aircraft out and about and/or joining please take a look at our website Untitled Document (http://helisharing.co.uk).

Thanks

I read your other post with interest.
Will be looking to do some R44 use in the near future so this is of interest for me.
Let us all know when you've had her rebuilt.
