In June, the US Air Force had to call on an apiarist for help after more than 20,000 bees swarmed at the exhaust of an F-22 Raptor. (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/08/15/f22_grounded_by_bees/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook)

So the Americans gave up counting at 20K, that would never happen in the RAF, every one of the blighters would need to be accounted for. :p
