Can someone direct me to any reference to when the (maneuvering) amber band starts being displayed on the ASI of the 747-400 during takeoff and initial climb ?

Does it differ from other Boeing models such as the 778i, 777 or even 764 ?

Thank you!

B744:

Depending on certification the amber band displays the 1.2g FAA or 1.3g(EASA) manoeuvre margin. It displays with first flap retraction after take-off

Thank you bylgw for your prompt and informative reply.

I wonder if it can be different on other models ( 772 and 773 in particular ) ?

As far as I'm aware, it's the same on all versions of the B777.
