Looks like things are started to percolate a bit more on a JSTARS replacement.

Boeing now has a page touting a 737-700 derivative, with a few renderings.

Boeing: Next Generation JSTARS (http://www.boeing.com/defense/jstars/?cm_mmc=BDS2016-_-AdBanner-_-DC_Dsk-_-JSTR_728x300)

Recent article on congressional interest mentioning the 737-700, Gulfstream C550 and Global 6000 as contending airframes.

Congress Urges Air Force to Accelerate JSTARS Recap (http://www.defensenews.com/story/defense/air-space/2016/05/27/congress-urges-air-force-accelerate-jstars-recap/85031868/)

Seems no KC-46 derivative as a few of us speculated in that thread a while back. Black boxes must be getting much smaller....

Kinda retro and missing a couple of engines but at least it'll be affordable.

Only kidding about the last bit!!
