Am I right in thinking that all hunters are still grounded unless on military reg?

If so what was the lone hunter that was flying a repeated pattern over Wellingborough area yesterday? Was up for about 30-45 minutues just in my earshot/sight.

Be interesting to know what it was from you expert folks on here.

Dunno if it's the one but there is one at Kemble on the ?Jordanian register and still flying.

Ah, I thought that had gone away to Jordan a month or so ago, but that would explain it.

According to Fylpast:

It was indeed the HHA Hunter.
It kept passing over the top of me in Great Staughton for something like a dozen times over say an hour.
It kept flying east to west to east repeatedly and I could see that it looked like it used the outside western extent of St Neots as its turning point from east to west.
It was not hanging about on any of the passes.

There are a few on the UK military register operated by Hawker Hunter Aviation Ltd. These won't be affected by CAA regulations.
Hunter F.58 ZZ191 was in the static Display at Fairford over the weekend.

Thanks for clearing that up folks, as your flypast quote says treadigraph, it was not hanging about.
