Can someone please confirm who is operating the 737-5's from MAN.

I understand they were originally operated by BAR.

So were they passed on to BACE or are they operated my BA mainline ??

Cheers in advance.

These are operated by Mainline.

Not sure if this is 100% correct but I believe the 757 are shuttle base for LHR with MAN (BA mainline staff). 737 is still operated by BA however it is the origional (BAR) staff and BASE ie Brymon/Regional staff aren't checked out on them yet.

MAN 735s are operated by BA Regional crews and will remain that way until they leave MAN in September. All MAN originating services will then be operated by BACE on ERJ145s and RJ100s. Services between MAN and LHR/LGW will continue to be operated by BA crews.

Cabin Crew at BA Main Line trained on -300, 400 (LGW based/ex Dans), 436, and 500 series B737. Although Main Line crews(LHR/MAN/GLA) only see 436/400 737 they are trained just in case the odd smaller verson appears.

I'm totally confused....but this just about sums up BA with no-one really knowing who is doing what.

Probably needs a project team to analyse the operational benefits!
