Let's only review the negative parts instead of positive things... well done Halas.

No pay rise. Thanks for giving us a few months to get ready for this JA.

This is only returning some of the things they stole from us in 2009.

You must have been post the "glory-days".

The RTGS is still to be done for free. Leave is still not accounted for, hence compressed rosters in leave months will still happen. Nothing for reserve days. Nothing for SEP. This is nowhere close to what they took. Notice no numbers are mentioned. And we wait until Aug for most to happen.
No wonder it took so long to work out.

Muppets.

Donpizmeov on 19MAY:

"I see that there is a book running on day of week and time that TCH will release the email. A Thursday (no one knows which Thursday) with minutes after 3.30pm getting greater odds."

Yep. You called it alright.

Excuse me if I don't go dancing down the street.
Yet again MY increment is counted as a payrise. It's not, hence a big fat 0% payrise. 1300dhs a month extra well whoop di do.
As for the rest it's just tinkering around the edges.
And it's taken all this time to work out !!!!!!

Fair enough. I'm still a newbie so I don't know about this stuff. My apologies Halas

"The above is a clear demonstration of our commitment to maintain a nurturing, caring and inspiring internal world at Emirates – in line with what STC said in his recent quarterly update".

What a great laugh :D.

I'm glad i don't take this outfit seriously :=

Gardenshed is correct. A 3% annual increment is what we were told was contractual when we joined. If the pay scales don't move there is no pay rise - again!

Nada!
3% is contractual!
keep on walking the extra miles while the muppets are dancing and sipping costa!

The only positive I see here is that the guys on the top step have finally got something...

donpizmeov

Neetu, you are an idiot. Everyone got the normal 3%. Those that have topped out, and have been stuck on the same pay since 2009, now also get 3%.

Little harsh there don. Perhaps neektu meant that FO's at the top of the scale don't get the new step, only Captains...?

Yeah Don, unless you know him personally to be an idiot, you should really apologize.

An apology of a guy who lives on Pprune. Emirates will give us a 50% payrise before you see that happen

Seems to me, reading your post that, the step is contractual depending YOUR performance, not EK's. So in 2009 they were in breech of the contract. So AAR is actually pleased to say he's pleased to not withhold our contractual terms. Just sayin'.

It's actually linked to the company wide 'performance matters' system.

A ground manager can award zippo to 5% to recognize individual performance. No increase equates to bad job but as we were all lauded for 'going the extra mile' we should have received the step.👍

Agree, going the extra mile is something from the past.

Its time for 'them' to go the extra mile keeping guys in the company.
