Hi there!

Do you think, there's still a place where a rookie with 235 TT can find his first job? Being an expat in that country.

Last fall i've learned that Botswana, Tanzania and most other african countries issued a law, that forbid hiring any alien with less than 500 hours. Are there still countries that allow that?

Thanks

To my knowledge, not in Africa. Try Susi air in Indonesia.

There are a few places left in the US that will hire at that low TT, but most are sketchy.

First off, not many places (on the 135 side) that would hire him with such low time. Remember there are minimums, competitive minimums, and insurance minimums. Big difference.

He couldn't even get a job as a diver driver in the US because of his low time. Again, insurance minimums at play.

Best would be to get his CFI and instruct for a while..

And of course, if he is not a legal resident or US citizen he couldn't even apply with any of those "sketchy" operators.
