The newest brochure from the bounty castle gives us a claim and fact article concerning Lufthansa's rant.

Same old shoe with a lot of correct facts, but one thing bugs me:

Claim: These carriers “don’t assume real responsibility for their employees...” (Interview by Lufthansa CEO in “Die Zeit”,
22 December 2015)
Fact: As a responsible multinational company, Emirates complies with the labour laws in each of the countries that we operate to. To attract and retain top talent Emirates o ers competitive salaries and bene ts. Emirates currently employs over 56,000 sta , and more than 14,600 of these are of European nationalities. Emirates’ status as an excellent employer is shown by its high staff retention rates – with more than 15,600 sta having worked for 10 years or longer. Emirates also receives more than 400,000 job applications per year.

If EK wants to dispel untrue claims, then it should be very careful not to propagate new ones:

1. Emirates complies with the labour laws in each of the countries that we operate to

Well, ironically EK does not comply with the labour law of ....... the UAE!
Pilots are not given the legal minimum days of leave. (some lame excuse of being a govt entity or similar ...)

2. Emirates’ status as an excellent employer is shown by its high staff retention rates

Why do we work 95h plus? Why don't we get our contractual leave? Even managers start to admit to a huge attrition rate.
That must be the joke of the year. :ugh:

What did EK arrogantly tell LH? Wasn't it "stick to the facts"?
Pathetic.

It is a semi government company. As an example ground based non Muslim staff don't get the same work schedules as Muslims in Ramadan. The excuse is "we are not subject to Labour Law"

In addition, EK STILL haven't published the results of the employee survey that they promised to.

Liars and Cheats. Welcome to EK.

How much talent have we lost in the last year alone? Not only in pilot numbers but in very senior and qualified TRIs and TREs. Just look at Boeing's school it is filled w ex EK pilots.
Now we are hiring TP pilots and the company has the gull to say we are hiring talent?
Look in the mirror Emirates and start honouring your very own labour laws as well as those in Europe. Those that live in Glass houses shouldn't throw rocks.
Yes Emirates is pathetic.
