I read that the Fly Force are to copy our cousins by forming a so called Top Gun unit. What ever happened to the D.F.L.S. of the 50s?

Gerry, DFLS became the Day Fighter Combat School at West Raynham in 1958. It later moved to Binbrook in 1962 as part of CFE, but was disbanded in 1965.

Of course neither West Raynham nor Binbrook exist as RAF aerodromes either....:(
