Why does "W" next to a VOR represent in an en-route chart. Was asked as an airline interview question. No chart was shown.

Guessing it gives some sort of wx info, but without a chart, it really is hard to say.

Almost as bad as my first airline interview, where the guy unfolded the chart (which depicted a few hundred thousand square miles), and says "please show me a compulsory reporting point"

:uhoh:

Talk about needle in a haystack...

The question was related to Jeppesen....I have tried looking through legends but was unsuccessful in finding it.

Stone Cold Steve Austin beat me to it -- which is a shame because my odds were on The Rock at Wrestlemania!
