Can anyone shed any light on Inaer Operations in Mozambique?

As I understand it they took the contract from CHC, but I haven't heard anything since.

They did take it. Arrived with no GSE, tooling or office equipment. Still advertising for captains, pilots and engineers. They didn't fly for the first few months but that may have changed now.

Hi,
Does anybody know if we have to apply in Inaer Italy or somewhere else?
Many thanks

I suggest even the tiny bit of effort to find their website and take a look.

That said, find below:

INAER, líder global en servicios aéreos de emergencia y mantenimiento de aeronaves (http://www.inaer.com/ofertas)

Same again

This is no for Mozambique, I think this is for Ghana.

Hahaha. Too true.

Must be for ENi unless Inaer have also bought the Tullow work in Ghana?

The inaer.com website is where all the jobs are posted. The AME jobs have been removed since last week so at last they can maintain their ac properly.

I don't know if they win Tallow, as far as I know they are waiting for that on the end of January, but Mozambique I don't think this is Spain, this is the reason of my question if it was Inaer Italy or maybe Babcock.

AW,

I am pretty sure this will be run by INAER Italy from Milan.

Best of luck!!! You may need it.....

'Must be for ENi unless Inaer have also bought the Tullow work in Ghana?'

Just out of interest, is this just bad wording or how can Inaer have 'bought' a contract?
Or anyone to that end?

You can always buy a contract on price. I do not mean bribes if that's what you mean. I mean taking a contract at a loss to win it. There's a lot of it about with $30 oil. I can understand it for short term exploration work but for long term production, I think it's a very dangerous game to play. Just my thoughts.

I don't think Inaer will win this contract, I think it will be NHV.
Bristow lost his opportunity.

P&A, it's not great if you live in Europe or N/ America. If you have an EASA license and live in other parts of the world, it's actually not that bad. I suspect pilots at companies in India for example with AW139 TRs would jump at the chance to make about $40k a year.

Here on PPRUNE we think a lot about how the typical Euro/ N American etc touring pilot would feel about it while ignoring others who would beg to have jobs that paid like this. We all do it, me included. Pilots are commodities. NHV's job (if they have won) is to figure out what works for them commercially and then hire people to work for that money. In the boom times very few will take a job with money like that. In this market with the oil price where it is and not much happening globally, I think they will not struggle to find people at all. 5500 Eur is a ton better than unemployment benefit, or nothing.

The $5500 per month, month on/off is for Inaer in Ghana for ENI.
Nothing to do with Tullow or NHV.

Does anyone know if Inaer have been awarded the offshore contract in Ghana?

Have they hired any pilots yet? Or are they relocating their pilots from other bases/contracts that have been lost in Spain?

i was lead to believe it was for Mozambique for the old CHC contract that Inaer won

The job advertised on the website is for INAER Spain (Spanish ICAO an advantage), so will be for the Ghana contract.

Yes, Inaer won the contract in Mozambique but Inaer Spain is pushing for Ghana contract as well, but I don't know if they get the contract or no.
Anybody knows something about Ghana??

I have tried to contact them-as we have an AOC (and AMO) in that region it might be interesting to get into a kind of "joint venture", but surprise surprise-no reply..

A word to wise.... Have a look at their accident record before committing to anything...

Before anyone says I know they fly in extreme situations but its still High.
