I finally got round to doing my ATPL(A) exams, and passed all within 18 months. That 18 month period has now expired, and I've got a few months to kill before my CPL/IR course.

I'm thinking of taking the extra 5 exams required for ATPL(H) to cover the bridging subjects - does anyone know if there is there a time limit for taking the bridging exams? Would they be valid if I take them before getting my fixed wing license?

you have 12 months to take the skills test or they become void

Is it just 12 months from the end of your last exam? Might have to look into the CAA website, which is a nightmare. I just finished my exams in October there.

I thought it was 36 months to get your CPL and IR, then 7 years for ATPL issue.?
