Evening all,

I've recently unearthed an old photo album which had some pictures of my grandad at No.1 CNS Rivers in Canada, but sadly with no dates or explanations about who else is in the photos.

I'm going to put in a request to the national archive for his wartime service, but I was wondering if anyone else on here has any insight into other organisations I might be able to find out some more background?

His Name was Maurice Croad, service no. 1608091.

I also found a photo of him and the rest of his squadron in front of a lanc. Again, no date or Sqn number written on the photo.

Any help greatfully received!

Thanks in advance!

Guzz.
