Any ideas as to how I can find out what the flying programme is likely to be over the Xmas period? We're going to be in the area and would be good if a day trip to Lossie "coincided" with the flying programme. ;)

On most RAF stations, nothing (aircraft) tends to move between Christmas Eve and New Year so, looking at the calendar, no flying between Friday the 24th and Monday the 4th I suspect. QRA excepted and the current events over Syria considered of course...

RAF Lossiemouth ? FighterControl ? Home to the Military Aviation Enthusiast (http://www.fightercontrol.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=74)

Spotters corner, they are good at advertising breaks in flying. As mentioned though the RAF other than QRA and SAR when we had it, is generally closed over the festive period. Syria etc may have changed that.
