The new bidding system:

A huge joke! :yuk:

I wonder if the 95% materialise ......

They managed to program the new system almost exactly like the old one:
Give the requested days off at least 10 days away from the desired date and plan flights as close as possible to 180 degrees in the opposite direction.

Congratulations EK, that's what i would call consistency. :ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh:

Well 95% success rate means that it awarded your ONE request and gave you crap for the rest.
Senior in top bid and got one middle rate request followed by crap.......
Couldn't even award a simple 5days off in a row in top bid.
Money well spent......NOT!

What a load of crap, this roster system is. Top bid in the top 1/4 of pilots in the group and I didn't get a single request and only got the low and lowest option of my bids. The top bids were flights on no particular day.
Now I'm left with 9 days off... Of which only have two, two days in a row, 5 turns and 2 European destinations..... What can I expect next month bottom bid!!!

Ok, lets analyze this..

95% succès rate of what?: 95% of 40% of the pilots from which is only accounted the "request" and not the preference.. which makes up only for 29% of their allowed 'lines' from which 50% gets discarded due to the management wisdom of only allowing one out of two possible 'requests'… so lets calculate..

29% of 40% = 12% then we have to half that, so gives us 6%.. and that times 95%= 5.7% of success rate in my book… Thats whats looked at in total..

Lies, damn Lies and statistics…
