A nice tribute

I attended the Yorkshire Air Show today and I thought the tribute to Kevin Whyman was well done. Quite a few people had tears in their eyes when seeing XH558 in formation with two Gnats. Good effort, chaps. Blue skies, Kevin.

Nice to hear. If the weather was anything like it was here in darkest Lincs then it would have been absolutely perfect. How did the rest of it go? Many there? Was going myself but wings clipped by stinking cold.

It was a great show, certainly a lot better than I expected. The weather was perfect. The ceiling was around 4,000'.

The two Tucano jocks were being looked at by a few of the ladies, too. Women just can't resist 'fighter' pilots. Lucky buggers!

I was there too and echo what you say. A very good day out, some great displays.
As expected the Vulcan and Gnats were very well received.

After looking at my images, I do have one complaint.

The CAA have temporarily prohibited inverted aerobatic manoeuvres from vintage fast-jets. This applies to the Folland Gnat - so why do I have an image of the yellow aircraft that is clearly performing an inverted aerobatic manoeuvre?
