No confidence though :ouch:

Same email here and I am away with just an iPad mini! Anyone who has completed them, can u shed some light on whether it is doable on a touchscreen or not?

Good luck

Same here PZ... Not even an ipad mini but an iphone in a place with substandard internet connection. Anybody knows if there are more DEP selections planned? Would be a shame to miss out.

Does anyone know what the tests are? Psychometric, numerical reasoning etc.

Thanks, ES

Evening,

Some of the tests might be possible to complete on an iPad but I would DEFINITELY NOT do the hand/eye coordination and reaction test without computer with good mouse and keyboard. :=

Good luck!

Dears,

Everything is clearly explained beforehand and really straightforward.

There are no ATPL questions.

You will need a calculator, paper, pen and a mouse.

As usual, the verbal reasoning should be the hardest test. 49 questions, 12 minutes.

Damned tube ride, crashed 5x :ugh:

it's still a bit basic at the early stages
but to follow is Interview and Sim test is a certainty
That's if you get through the next paper test...
Looks like big expansion out of Dublin now IAG are involved...loads more A330's
Taking Airbus rated and non-type rated (lower 1st yr salary)
5353 roster plus 35 days leave.

Hope that helps!

Good luck.

Can you explain more about this paper test? Is it after the online assessments?

Do you know how many FO'S are being recruited?

mask14
1st Oct 2015, 13:49
I think it is a further Psychometric assessment.
It was on paper/computer last time.
Looks like at least 20 needed this year on top of Cadets etc..

mask14
1st Oct 2015, 17:58
Longhaul expansion = more A320 direct entry - needed yesterday - to allow fleet progression (whatever fleet it is)!
only one visit needed usually, interview and Sim over two days max.
Type rated contractors will be needed too...later probably.
Current contractors being offered permanent positions for next spring.
Get in now to avoid seniority gaps!

mcdonnst2
1st Oct 2015, 18:52
Sounds good.

Do you happen to know many positions are going?

Is the sim the next day or do you get a few days?

As said before. Verbal reasoning was the hardest part. Crashed 5 times in that horrendous game. The rest not too hard I thought.

Fingers crossed, seems like a very good gig.

Guys, why are we so impatient?

The applications closed on the 7th, meaning they probably sent out the final wave of invitations for the online tests on the 8th. Those people also had their 3 days or whatever to complete them, so they probably only received the last data yesterday!

And before anyone will even be invited they will let the system send out a mass wave of rejections, probably to the vast majority of candidates, simply based on your assessment scores. Fully automated, nobody ever even saw your applications in person. You will know when it happens, people will mention it on forums, and then you'll instantly know if your scores were adequate or not. In the meanwhile, just be patient and keep on applying!:ok:

Not so elementary, Watson! :}

In a previous round the PFO landed in my e-box 6 months after the closing date!

Patience is still a virtue, tho! Best luck to everyone but only 20 seats available, apparently...

I received the phone call yesterday, and manage to get my days off to attend the selection in December (the 8th). So i called them back this morning to tell them so and I got the confirmation e-mail around 1 hour after.

Does anyone know what will it be like ? Is it interview with pilot, psy or ATPL tests or something like that ? I know that if we go through the interview, we will be asked to attend a sim assessment the same day.
