Hello,

Does anyone have any info on helicopter operations in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea?
I've herd they have EC 135's for police operations. - Can anyone confirm this?
Is there any offshore flying going on now?

Thanks

Yeah there are a couple 135s for the police in Malabo. Easy job by the looks of it, they rarely seem to fly more than 20 miles up the coast before returning to the airport. When the dictator, I mean "President" is in town, they provide "air support" in case someone throws rocks at the cavalcade. I hope those 135s have air conditioning.... mostly black paint a stone's throw from the equator and they are hangared outside most of the time. Ouch.

As for offshore, CHC is the only show in town. Two S76s in Bata and three (sometimes four) in Malabo.
