Application letter language

Hi all,

If a job requires you to be fluent in English and German, and the job is in Germany, in what language would it be wise to write the application letter?
In English, because it is the aviation language, or German to show you are able to? or both?

Any thoughts?

If it's about Germany... I suggest you write them in German. They simply love their language. Got some rejection e-mails written in German even though I wrote them in English. Good luck!
