Ugly FLIR footage of an incident from last month, when a Colombian Army UH-60 was destroyed shortly after landing. Four of those on board perished, with another six injured.

Looks more like an IED than a mine based in the size of the explosion.

Agree... looks like it was triggered after they landed-on. Troops already disembarking. Plus - seems like an awfully big bang for a mine. More likely a booby trapped LZ that has been used before and identified for the purpose. Very sad...
