I am rather keen to find a kneeboard with rolling paper.
I find myself testing aircraft in some rather cramped cockpits, and changing over pages of the test cards is sometimes quite tricky whilst maintaining control and a good lookout.
I remember seeing someone with an "issue" kneeboard from (I think) ETPS with a device to roll the paper (rather like a strip map) to reveal the next items.
Anyone have any ideas where I may procure/purchase one?
Many thanks,
Jez

what about a bike rolling chart holder attached to a standard kneepad?

Would a tape recorder, running for the duration of the flight, be a simpler and more convenient option? Leaves both hands free.

Hempy, that is precisely what I am looking for.
iPads are fine, but I'm not sure how i can fit my Test Cards on one, and then fill them in "on the move"
The tape recorder works, but I have to find a way to cut out the background noise.
The motorbike/cyclists items are along the right track (excuse pun!) but too small and bulky methinks.
What Hempy has there is just right. Do any of you Esteemed Chaps have one in the loft that needs to go flying again...........??

Looking at the pictures it wouldn't be difficult to get one made, see

You can cut out the background noise very well by using one of the many very small microphones now available. Plug it into your tape recorder and put the microphone inside the ear-piece of your headset or helmet.

Works really well with my go-pro and records the audio and radio very nicely.

Cambioso, I didn't see any of the knee boards you described whilst there. Swiss Mewa knee boards do just that but again, haven't seen one for ages. That's not to say they don't exist anymore though. The system OvertHawk mentions is pretty similar to the set up that the studes used a few years ago. It's a lot easier to fit than Velcro to a toilet roll holder too! Knee boards of choice seemed to be Flyboys iirc. :ok: Perhaps Some overt TPs can help? :E:

Thanks Stitch, yes, I'm rather hoping that an overt TP out there might have one of the Offending Articles in a loft somewhere....................
More than happy to contribute funds towards the procurement.
Here's hoping,
Jez.

I would imagine they're all one offs,

I remember modding one for Les Hurst adding a folding winder handle to make loading a new roll quicker:8

Its simple enough to make if you have the rollers
